Oleana combines the names of three women who shaped the founder’s life: Olga, Elena, and Ana, her grandmothers and mother. They taught her the value of perseverance, creativity, and the quiet strength that comes from following your dreams.
Together, Casa and Oleana create more than a name. They form a bridge between languages and worlds. Rooted in Spanish yet spoken globally, it reflects a vision that is both deeply Latin American and universally human. Hi, I’m Ana.
I grew up surrounded by stories, textures, and artworks that spoke to the richness of Latin America long before I had the words to describe it. My first encounter with art wasn’t in a museum, it was in my grandparents’ home in Ecuador, where paintings hung like quiet witnesses to memory, history, and identity.
Those early experiences shaped the way I understand creativity: as something emotional, rooted, communal, and deeply human. They also shaped my frustration. Because the more I learned, the more I realized how many extraordinary Latin American artists remain unseen, not for lack of talent, but for lack of access, visibility, and opportunity.
Casa Oleana was born from that gap: a desire to create a platform that celebrates, supports, and elevates Latin American voices on a global stage.
